Welcome to Hobbi! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hobbi mobile application operated by The Hobbyist Network ("we", "our", or "us").

By using Hobbi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Hobbi

Hobbi is a platform that connects users with local hobby classes and creative workshops. We facilitate discovery and booking but are not the provider of the classes themselves.

2. Account Registration

To use Hobbi, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or 18 for classes with age restrictions)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Booking Classes

3.1 How Bookings Work

When you book a class through Hobbi:

• You enter a direct agreement with the studio/instructor
• Hobbi facilitates the booking and payment processing
• Class details, schedules, and requirements are set by studios

3.2 Payment

• Prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• You agree to pay all fees associated with your bookings

3.3 Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellation policies are set by individual studios
• Review the studio's cancellation policy before booking
• Refund eligibility depends on the studio's policy and timing
• Contact the studio directly for cancellation requests

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Hobbi for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or studio staff
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
• Attempt to circumvent bookings to avoid platform fees
• Use automated systems to access the service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the app

5. Reviews and Content

5.1 User Reviews

When posting reviews, you agree to:

• Only review classes you have actually attended
• Provide honest and accurate feedback
• Not include personal attacks or inappropriate content

5.2 Content License

By posting content (reviews, photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with Hobbi.

6. Studio Relationships

Studios listed on Hobbi are independent businesses. We do not:

• Employ or control studio instructors
• Guarantee class quality or outcomes
• Assume liability for studio actions or omissions

Disputes with studios should be directed to the studio first. We may assist in facilitating resolution.

7. Intellectual Property

The Hobbi app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by The Hobbyist Network and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy or modify the app or its content
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Reverse engineer any part of the service

8. Disclaimers

Hobbi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Classes will meet your expectations
• All information is accurate or complete

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Hobbyist Network shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Actions of studios, instructors, or other users
• Injuries occurring during classes

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Hobbyist Network from claims arising from your use of Hobbi, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vancouver, BC.
